Founded in 1926, Stautzenberger College has been serving the greater Toledo and Cleveland communities for nearly a century. With two magnificent campuses totaling over 65,000 square feet of classroom, laboratory and office space, Stautzenberger College provides a variety of professional and occupational training in serene settings. Degree and diploma programs offered between these two campuses, in on-campus and online formats, include animal sciences; business; cannabis; health sciences like medical assisting, practical nursing, dental and sonography; paralegal studies; and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration.

Rockford Career College

Founded in 1862, for over 160 years Rockford Career College has provided relevant, quality programs geared to get people into the workforce quickly. The combination of small classes with caring and knowledgeable staff provides our students the kind of personalized attention they need to help them succeed. Resume and cover letter writing assistance: The teams help students create effective resumes and cover letters that highlight their skills and experience.

Career search strategies: Staff provides guidance on how to conduct successful career searches, including networking, using career search websites, and attending career fairs.

Interview preparation: We help students prepare for job interviews by providing tips and strategies for answering common interview questions, dressing for success, and making positive impressions.

Employer connections: Our schools have relationships with local employers and organizations and can connect students with job and internship opportunities in their field of study.

Stephen Tave

Stephen Tave, AHED member since 2008, brings 30+ years in private post-secondary education. Former President at NYC schools and Director at Art Institute. Co-owner and VP at Institute of Culinary Education, established nationally recognized career program with 30,000+ students yearly. Active in CCA committees. Brooklyn College psychology graduate.

Drew Emmerling

Drew Emmerling, AHED member since July 2016, brings 25+ years of financial management experience. His roles include 8 years as CFO, 3 years as Regional Controller, and 9 years in financial analyst positions at a Fortune 500 bank. He holds a BS in Economics and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ricky Romero

Ricky Romero

Ricky Romero, VP of Marketing & Communications, joined AHED in 2022. Ricky brings 19+ years of private post-secondary education admissions, marketing and financial aid. Ricky oversees student acquisition, admissions, marketing, and system optimization. Ricky brings his expertise in enrollment management, CRM development, business growth, and marketing to the AHED brands.

Brian Niedzwiecki

Brian Niedzwiecki, AHED team member since 2015, with 12 years at Stautzenberger College, rising from Career Services to Vice President. Toledo native, EPIC Toledo chairman, “20 under 40” recipient. MA in College Student Personnel and BA in Social Humanitarianism from Bowling Green State University.
