James M. Devaney - Ph.D., President, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder - Dr. Devaney has been President and Chief Executive Officer of AHED since co-founding the Company in 1998. Dr. Devaney has over twenty-seven years of experience in private post-secondary vocational education. He has been a school director and president of one of the largest culinary colleges in the country as well as a leader and spokesman for private vocational education in Washington, DC and Albany, New York. He served as an advisor to New York's Governor George Pataki on private postsecondary schools. Dr. Devaney holds numerous degrees, including a Ph.D. in Finance and a M.S. in School Administration from Pace University.

Carolyn Moffett - Vice President – Ms Moffett has over twenty five years of experience in private post secondary vocational education. She has been a school director, and leader and spokeswomen for private vocation education on the federal, state and local government. She served as the state representative for Post Secondary Schools to US Department of Education – Title IV – Region 2 liaison group. Ms Moffett also served both as a negotiator for the reauthorized Higher Education Act ( HEA) of 1993 and as a member of the of the U.S. Department of Education’s refund reform focus group. She formerly served as president of the New York State Coalition of Schools. Ms Moffett has BS in Business from Marymount Manhattan College and an MBA from Baruch College New York.

James Hannagan -
Chief Financial Officer – Mr. Hannagan has been CFO of AHED since 2006. Mr. Hannagan has over 40 years experience in finance, accounting, financial management and control, cash management and treasury operations across a variety of industries. He oversees the financial operation of AHED and assisted in the completion of the acquisition of Madison Media Institute. Mr. Hannagan holds a B.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Guary Bernadelle -
Financial Analyst – Mr. Bernadelle has been with AHED since 2003. During his tenure, he has served as Vice President and Interim President and currently serves as Vice President/Director of Finance of Rockford Business College. Under his leadership as interim president, he opened and oversaw the construction of a state-of-the-art Learning Center for Rockford Business College in Rockford, Illinois. He also assisted in the acquisition of Madison Media Institute, Madison, Wisconsin. Guary has over 18 years of experience in teaching, management, accounting, foreign currency trading, finance, cash management and budgeting. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Long Island University, NY.
Donald W. Wortham -
Director of Distance Learning - Mr. Wortham joined
AHED in early 2008 after working on new product development, accreditation,
and curricula for Madison Media Institute, an AHED school. Mr.
Wortham is past Executive Director of UNext/Cardean, where he oversaw
the development of online MBA programs. He has consulted with firms
including Syngenta, Suburu and Universal Technical Institute to
launch learning initiatives, and teaches in the Enterprise MBA
program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Wortham is
a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He is currently pursuing his PhD in Educational Psychology at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Stephen Tave -
Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing - Mr. Tave joined AHED in the spring of 2008. With over 24 years of private post-secondary education experience, he brings a background of successful sales and marketing throughout his career. He spent eight years as President, Director and Director of Sales and Marketing for a company that owned and operated business and technical schools in and around New York City. Then he became Director of Sales and Marketing at the Art Institute of New York City. During the more than five years he spent there he increased enrollment from 350 to more than 1100 students and revenues from $4 million to $16 million. He then became part-owner and Vice President of the Institute of Culinary Education and set-up the career school marketing, infrastructure and foundation for what has become a nationally recognized career training program with over 30,000 students annually in their career and advocational programs. Mr. Tave is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in psychology.
