“If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed…” David Viscott.
I was terrified to go back to school in my 40s, but I felt welcomed and encouraged when I entered the doors at Rockford Career College. I received more than an education there. I gained my confidence back which allowed me to continue my education. As a result, I have my bachelor’s degree in Human Services and I am registered for the fall to earn my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Thank you RCC for believing in me.
Jordan Biagomala from Living Storm Productions LLC: "I’m a recent graduate of Madison Media Institute, but I’ve been making films since I first arrived. I’ve participated in many 48 hour film competitions."
1. How did you find out about Living Storm Productions? What made you want to become part of the group?
I found about Living Storm Productions while I was attending film school at Madison Media Institute. I attended one of their film showcases! Later on during my final semester of school I wanted to get as much hands on experience working on sets. I saw that Living Storm Productions was looking for new crew members & I was eager to work with a group of talented professionals!
2. What first interested you in film?
I’ve always been intrigued by visual art. I really appreciate how film encompasses so many different art forms. It’s a huge collaborative art piece.
3. For you, what’s the most exciting part about making a film?
Watching an idea come to life.
4. What is your experience in filmmaking?
I’m a recent graduate of Madison Media Institute, but I’ve been making films since I first arrived. I’ve participated in many 48 hour film competitions.
5. What are some of your filmmaking ambitions?
To tell stories that connect us to what it means to be human. Just a former student doing big things!
Thanks for sharing, Living Storm Productions LLC

David Kallas of Massage Envy in Rockford has nothing but praise for Rockford Career College and our school's massage therapy students and graduates. Thanks for your kind words David, and for helping RCC develop exceptional massage therapists for this community.
"Rockford Career College does a fantastic job of providing qualified therapists for my business. Several of our massage therapists, including our lead therapist, are graduates of Rockford Career College. I’m also impressed with how much effort they put into working with the business community, From externship programs to advisory committees, RCC really works hard to stand connected with the business community. There are a true partner.” –David Kallas

Rockford Career College:
Just wanted to let you know I graduated last June from online billing and coding. I did my externship at Bowling Green Orthopaedics and was hired as part-time. As of Monday I was hired in full-time with an excellent raise and benefits. Just wanted to say thank you to the school Stautzenberger College(SC).
“Our busy 5 doctor practice has experienced great success with students of Stautzenberger College(SC). We currently have 2 graduate RVT’s on staff and 4 current students. In our experience your students are well educated on the fundamentals of veterinary technology. Class schedules are structured so most our student employees are able to balance a full time school and work schedule simultaneously. Our practice also has a luxury boarding facility. I often try to hire Stautzenberger College(SC) students when they are early in their education to work in our boarding facility. It provides the students important animal care experience that many of them lack when entering school. As they advance in their studies then they are already in an organization that promotes from within and utilizes its RVT’s in a variety of positions within the practice.”
